Conor Mac Foundation is a charity that supports students from low-income countries whose education has been compromised or put at risk and are unable to progress.
All Intending applicants must have been able to initially fund their education satisfactorily.
Funding will not be available for students at the outset of their secondary and tertiary education.
Student must be studying in a secondary or tertiary institution recognised by the host country.
The amount of assistance which the organisation can give has to be applied for on an annual basis.
No guarantee can be given that assistance will be for more than one year.
Each application is considered on its own merits and in strictest confidence.
It is not possible to consider payment of fees in arrears.
Payment of fees is made direct to schools, not to applicants.
Applications must come from applicant supported by parents/guardians and the institution.
Funds to Individuals – Application is considered from those who have made proper provision to fund a degree or higher education course but find themselves facing unexpected financial difficulties which may prevent completion of it
Funds to Organisations: - Modest grants are made to other NGO organisations if it seems likely that the project(s) for which funds are sought will fill educational gaps or make more widely available a particular aspect of education or learning.
